QUOTE(faulkrules @ Aug 28 2005, 07:46 PM) Anyway, my question is...has anyone ever seen a REAL (not promo) $1000 or $2000 phone card from Classic Assets? The belief is that 5 of each were produced, but in 11 years I have never seen one for sale (shops, conventions, ebay, usenet, etc.) I suspect that they were never made...any info would be greatly appreciated. Welcome to the site, EC! Glad to have you join us. If you have any questions as you look around, just let me or another member of the TCC Team know. Now, your question... I haven't seen any of these cards either and an initial research attempt isn't turning up much. However, I did find that Beckett has both of the cards listed as: 1994-95 Assets Phone Cards $1000 * 2 Marshall Faulk $25.00 $60.00 1994-95 Assets Phone Cards $2000 * 1 Marshall Faulk $40.00 $100.00 This would seem to suggest that the cards exist unless Beckett has outdated pricing listings for cards that they thought were going to be produced. I'll have to look around more on this one. -Bob

QUOTE(faulkrules @ Aug 31 2005, 09:39 AM) I will attach a pic of a curious PC I have. It is a 1994-5 $2000 PC of Marshall Faulk, but it is odd in three ways. First, unlike other $2000 promos from this set that I have seen (Ebay item number: 5236910364) it does NOT have a red stamp on the front that says "PROMO". Second, the back does not have the usual text that the promo's have, it has the normal back found on redeemable PCs. Finally, it appears to have NO scratch off section on the back at all. I think this is either a printers proof...or Classic never actually allowed their $2000 PCs to be redeemable. Thanks for the scan. Very interesting... Let me dig a little more. -Bob
