Ya I did, against Trin?...did you see Terry's amazing save but Im sick of England being so good...even though Brazil's been really good for a very long time also. I am rooting for Brazil or Trin just cause they're such a small country and of course the USA!

Trinadad is a deciente team. England hasn't won the world cup since like 1976 so they haven't been that good for so long. If they where good all the time they would win more then 1 world cup in the last 30 years. But i don't see england advanceing unless Rooney comes and play good and give the team a spark like the yesterday when he came in and they scored 2 goals. So we will see i rather see Brazil win then engalnd but i would like Brazil and England in finals

Actually England last won the World Cup (their only World Cup victory) in 1966. I agree about the Rooney factor....the midfield created so many chances yesterday that were just begging to be finished off. I would also like to see Gerrard in a more advanced position....he really comes into his own when he takes off on those driving runs towards the opposition goal. Another thing....Ferdinand is a disaster waiting to happen. He's got all the skills and physical attributes to be a world class centreback, but unfortunately, he also has the concentration of a doorknob.

Go England !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! P)

laugh.gif

As an American living in England (who's favourite sport is baseball) I think England is really going over the top in this whole world cup thing ..

I hoped that the Americans go farther than england .. but that doesn't look like its going to happen. Go USA in their next game so they get to the elimintation round.

All I hope for .. if England doesn't do well against Sweeden in 15 minutes .. they might have to play Germany (The Home Team) in the first game of the elimination round.

well .. england are up 1-0 at the half against Sweeden...

If they lose, they will play Germany in the next round .. if they win .. they play Equador. (and not potentially face Germany again until the Semis)

My money would be on a Germany Brazil final.

Yeah I was upset with how Brazil played. They looked flat until the game was almost over, but by then it was too late. Give France credit they played great.
