as you see a lot of times when somebody ask for a price you get no answer I would chip in some money so TCC can buy all the becketts

if you get members to chip in a couple dollars


then give the money to buy beckett football,basketball, baseball to people that are on all the time to look up prices

you do not have to buy new ones each month say every 3 to 4 months



ps I have the newest Hockey one

Would be an idea. However, I think it would be better to do this with OPG. I normally try to keep an opg, but right now I just haven't renewed. I am always more than happy to help with prices when I have an active subscription Of course, this wont be a problem once I get my shop as I will have tons of becketts for sale

Mike the last Beckett Hockey I bought was Oct of last year Lol but legally by copy right laws we wouldn't be able to do that and with openly having a BGS Group Submission on going, wouldn't be the right thing to do just in case Beckett stops by for a visit.

i don't understand paul if I want a price a person looks it up for you in a book for you

if you want a price all I have to go to a facebook group and someone looks it up for you I do it all the time

I want a price for topps baseball a while back and no one answer here in a day with in a hr I had the price on it on facebook

Mike, the problem is its hard to control it when asking privately, through PM or FB as facebook you have to be approved to the group or member, same with TCC, you have to become a member to ask for a price on a card which is given without the source of where you got the price, like music and DVDs, you can burn it all you want for yourself, but not for 200 of your friends, its illegal

Second, its all about money with Beckett, say we did that and I was the one getting all four sports we all pitched in on.

Its $9.99 US for the beckett Hockey, and for the 3 months with that one book, I gave out pricing to 150 members that didnt have the book, beckett would lose close to $1,500 in would be book sales, if I did that all year every 3 months, x4 would be $6000 x 4 for all 4 sports $24,000 in lost sales from a guy on a Trading card site sharing 4 books with 30,000 + members, talk about a law suit waiting to happen if they found out...something to think about

So I think our Price Check Thread should be looked at better and given some thought......some site's dont allow Price Checking, but asked to do it through PM and not on the forums openly.

Mike, let me think on it and see if I can come up with a idea that works for TCC and its members with out breaking laws.
