How about them Red Sox!!!
They beat the Los Angeles Angels last night 7-6. Jacoby Ellsbury had 2 home runs and scored the game winning run!!!
So much for the 'experts' predicting they would have a bad April because of all the travel!!!!They are now 15-7, and have won 6 games in a row!!!
Their pitching has been A MESS, but they are scoring so many runs that it doesn't matter in most of their games.
I am concerned their bad pitching might catch up to them, but for now they have the best record in the AL, second best in the Majors, and best of all, the Yankees are 11-10
HAHAHA

QUOTE(bigalexx @ Apr 24 2008, 07:30 PM) He is too busy painting his sock i hate when people say this. even as a fan of another team, i know i would respect what curt schilling did. he risked his entire career on helping his team win the world series. it very well could have been his last time on the mound, even limited his hof chances. that was one of the single most inspiring performances in sports history. as for the bullpen, every year at the start we say gotta keep timlin's innings down he's older, and yet we continue to overwork him. he's a great pitcher, but lets face it, his arm is shot and if we overwork him this year he'll be done. he's helped the sox so much in the past years. as for the youngins, give em a shot; remember they are the future.
