The second semester has begun. I'm taking 12 hours of classes (the minimum) again as I did last semester, trying to keep the work load down for my first year. Looks like this semester will be a bit tougher, though. I'm taking sophomore level English (I have credit for freshman English through a high score on the English portion of the ACT), World History since 1648 (lots of reading, notes, the usual tests, two movie reviews, a book review, and a leadership outline over a major historical figure), Business and Professional Speaking, and Intro to Meteorology (with tough tests, and only FOUR grades - 3 tests and 1 lab).
I hope to keep a 4.0 again this semester, to make it easier on myself in future years (plus, I'd like to hold a 4.0 all through college if possible). I only have to have a 3.5 to hold my scholarship here at Western, although I'm not certain of the requirement for another scholarship I have (administered by the state; $2500 each year). It will be tough, especially in Meteorology. But, I will try to do my best....that is all one can do.
To all.......God bless.
