Bought another box online today, it was more back to the normal Dwight boxes, was pretty weak far as most Prime boxes go and was rather ugly in comparison to that box last night.

Yeah when saw he was paired with a North Star I figured as much. You just had to press your luck. They suckered you with the first box. That is one of the things I really dislike is the "gamble" in each box, but that is the way the hobby is anymore. So what did you get?

Nothing of note that I can recall, will post link to their video when it is up so you can see what I mean just the box universe keeping itself in check.....but yeah pretty much like playing the lottery anymore with boxes, as you either hit big or get a "meh" box or straight out feel like you got kicked in the Kahunas with your box (I get kicked a lot it seems, just my luck I guess )

2nd box, I mean it wasn't worst box ever but was for sure one of the weaker boxes of Prime I have seen opened so far for sure:

Preds patch not too bad (least part of it not all white ) , hit a Dallas card but he no longer on the Team as he got traded and all that.

Yes for sure, though over $200 a box they aughta be .....actually going to miss Panini in Hockey next year as UD has the exclusive monopoly again for NHL licensed cards. As I feel competition helps, but I can understand the other problem with the flood of products causing values to drop as hitting a big name AU not worth what it used to be. But I'm not totally convinced that UD won't increase their product line so much that it really won't be much different than having two manufacturers with next year being just one making Hockey cards (as they bringing back MVP and Ultra already announced so who knows how many product lines they will have, as they haven't said how many they allowed or how long the exclusive agreement is for, but it must be for awhile as Panini clearing out their Materials and loading up the last products (that or they have no interest at all going back into Hockey after losing their license after such a short time once the exclusive deal is over and they could have a chance at getting license again).

That wasn't horrible, wasn't great either, but some nice stuff, I'd keep the first box for $200 and return the second.

Yeah just UD is why I am just about done collecting. Not that Panini did anything great, but Prime was one of their better showings in a mid priced product. To get the same from UD you would pretty much have to buy the Cup and I agree they will oversaturate the market with the exclusive license so it won't be any different than it was before. Either too much with two or too much from a monopoly. Gonna miss Prime and maybe Score (although they overpriced it this year).

Time for me to stop This stuff is so fun though, but it would be difficult to beat this box (so not going going to push my luck, maybe do a couple group breaks of it is all):

Last time I looked it was around $205-210 here in US, it is a bit more in Canada (which is where these guys are, think it was $235 or $240). But it is sold out at Panini, so in theory the price may go up for awhile as it seems to be pretty popular as they loaded the product up to get rid of Mem inventory, I"m sure their last product National Treasures will be loaded just the same, as UD has the Exclusive again next year for NHL cards.
