Yeah! an Attorney General that was and is as seedy as it comes. Can you say Ed Meese (without throwing up?)

Even that piece of trash obamm wants to be like the Great One, but fails so baddly. bama is not worth a speck the dirt off of Mr. reagan shoes.

Yeah, the last 4+/- years were run by Mr. Howard Baker, the Chief of Staff and former senator from Tennessee, Probably a good call, as he was a moderate voice in the maelstrom. Not to mention the fact that Mr. Reagan was showing signs of dementia during this time frame.

I agree Romney is not a decent candidate...but still far above the piece of vermon we have in there now.

"Vermin", well there 'ya go.

I'll rest my case once again!

Please think through your responses here, as I would

Ha, I never speak political views, let's put it this way, I'm barely making it, work slowing down, food and gas at a high, I make $2 dollars to much for any state help for a family that has two special needs kid's, both hearing impaired, Need hearing aids which I pay out of pocket for, state aid cut that and I have to make payments, loss health. Insurance for my family from work a few months back, I'm just covered due to blue cross price per family, $900 a month with 3000 deductible to be paid first, Obama health plan? Might be cause!

So, as I sit thinking how I'm gonna make it for my family, and I as go to the store today,

What do you mean well thought out responses? I lived through Carters crap (14 to 18 yoa). Yeah...good years if you had money in CD's. Interest rate at about 22%. Gas lines...I worked at service stations. Failed attempt to rescue hostages...military ripped up by this idiot. and bama is worse...he is an enemy of the United States. We kicked out Bush Sr for "read my lips" and that was just one broken promise. Obama has lied so much it is hard to keep score. Cliton and his lies, meaning of "is" "is"???? Morally bankrupt.
Bama's waste of money on vactions and plane rides, clintons haircut, that wife of bama and her food nazi ways. More freedoms have been eroded or removed under this guy than when Lincoln and Bush broke the Posse Comitatus. Health care is till a mess, brags about how many people have had to sign up for food stamps. I know President Reagan made mistakes and I admit the new tax write offs he enacted were bad (removed interest on Credit cards and others to move it to house interest as one of the only thing you can write off). Unlike the cool aid drinking libs. I can call any bad act just that. President reagan signed a compact with the vatican I disagreed with...but he did much more good than evil like bama. You tell a tree hugging liberal that a broken leg whould hurt they would say prove it, but I don't need my leg broke to know it would hurt. What do you mean well thought out responses?

Just what I stated. Must I define term by term, word by word, syllable
by slyllable my posts? This is a rhetorical question, no need for a response.

I lived through Carters crap (14 to 18 yoa). Yeah...good years if you had money in CD's. Interest rate at about 22%.  Gas lines...I worked at service stations. Failed attempt to rescue hostages...

A military mistake, wow! That must be a first.

military ripped up by this <implied profanity removed>. and bama is worse...he is an enemy of the United States.

Paranoid much?

We kicked out Bush Sr for "read my lips" and that was just one broken promise. Obama has lied so much it is hard to keep score. Cliton and his lies, meaning of "is" "is"????  Morally bankrupt.
Bama's waste of money on vactions and plane rides, clintons haircut, that wife of bama and her food nazi ways.

The Junior bush took over 2 1/2 years vacation over the span of his 8 years in office. (487 days at Camp David and another 490 at his ranch.
In the first year in office:
Carter took 19 days
Reagan took 42 days
HW Bush took 40 days
Clinton took 21 days
GW bush took 69 days
(Bush made 25 trips — a total of 78 days — to Camp David in 2001.)
Obama took 26 days
http://www.factcheck.org/2010/01/president...s-vacation-days
/

More freedoms have been eroded or removed under this guy than when Lincoln and Bush broke the Posse Comitatus.

"The Act, § 15 of the appropriations bill for the Army for 1879, found at 20 Stat. 152, was a response to, and subsequent prohibition of, the military occupation by U.S. Army troops of the former Confederate States during the ten years of Reconstruction (1867–1877) following the American Civil War (1861–1865). The U.S. withdrew federal troops from Southern states as a result of a compromise in one of the most disputed national elections in American history, the 1876 U.S. presidential election. Samuel J. Tilden of New York, the Democratic candidate, defeated Republican candidate Rutherford B. Hayes of Ohio in the popular vote. Tilden garnered 184 electoral votes to Hayes' 165; 20 disputed electoral votes remained uncounted. After a bitter fight, Congress struck a deal resolving the dispute and awarding the presidency to Hayes."

Lincoln could not have possibly "broke" the Posse Comitatus as he
had been dead for 14 years before its enactment.

Health care is till a mess, brags about how many people have had to sign up for food stamps.

I don't recall the bragging. Could you please cite a resource?

I know President Reagan made mistakes and I admit the new tax write offs he enacted were bad (removed interest on Credit cards and others to move it to house interest as one of the only thing you can write off). Unlike the cool aid drinking libs.

I believe the proper spelling is Kool-Aid.

I can call any bad act just that. President reagan signed a compact with the vatican I disagreed with...but he did much more good than evil like bama. You tell a tree hugging liberal that a broken leg whould hurt they would say prove it, but I don't need my leg broke to know it would hurt. But when some one does not buy into a liberals diatribe they cry 'foul", "hate speech", "you want dirty air and water", "that's racist", or "prove it".

That's a broad brush you're painting with. I (an unabashed Liberal), don't require, request or acquiesce to you putting words in my mouth. I do quite well on my own, thank you.

The proof is where we are today as a Nation; bankrupt: morally and fiscally. Unless you do not know your history this Great Country's Laws are based on that Bible your bashing. (I am not a ron paul fan...do not really like the guy) Almost every one of our founding fathers wrote many papers that stated their faith in the Almighty God of Heaven, not ali or buda.

Ali was a former Heavyweight Champion of the World. I don't have a clue as to "buda." I don't recall bashing the Bible. More than likely, because it has not occured.

Especially George Washington.  Why do you think there is prayer before congress opens or those pesky 10 commandments on almost every courtroom across this country? But you like the Constitution don't you...oh except for that pesky 2nd. one...the one that kept the Japeneses from invading our shores in WWII and keeps bama from total power and keeps chaos from the streets. You tell me.

Yet again, you assume to be privy to my thoughts and political philosophies. Do you have any notion of how arrogant, base and adolescent that habit is?

WHAT HAS THAT SOCIALIST, obama, REALLY DONE FOR OUR COUNTRY THAT IS GOOD  AND IN LINE WITH THE CONSTITUTION!!!

Restored adult behavior to the position of POTUS.

I'll give you that one, but only because of this fine sites rules and being I did agree to follow the rules. But it does prove my point about liberals. They cry foul when someone steps on their toes. They especially like to become the ones to point out slight wrongs of others while being hypocrites themselves, for one must be smaller than the hypocrite they hide behind. Kind of like an Officer of the law giving a speeding citation to one person while they themselves speed and use their authority to escape a citation from a brother officer. The proper manner to handle this would have been for another moderator to post my public admonishment on this subject, since you are partial and have a stake in making me look stupid. You should have recused (see definition below) yourself in judging my "implied", though true, rule infraction. This, I have done when I was once a moderator on another great site. I back down not. Bring your best argument, for it cannot dispute truth and fact. Spin away and remember you started this with a defamatory remarks and a sign you plan to carry in public. Seems kinda strange I am judged by one who does not like to be judged or called out, but this is the bases of the democratic party and obama
( One who buses in spectators and will not field hard questions without venting them first and then has to use a TelePrompter for EVERYTHING and even then he cannot read properly. e.g. "Corps man".) (I will give you Gerald Ford tripping and Dan Quails mispelling potato). Setting aside the fact I trespassed one of this sites rules, liberals seek to cry foul and point to minor infractions of their enemy, proving and validating my claim.
"The Truth!, You can't handle the truth" (Jack Nicholson)
. You attempt to weld your authority around this site; I have noticed the tone and wording of some of your posts and it is conducive to your (over) reaction to my post. Before you say "prove it", Don't. It is my observation and others may not see it until they are made aware of it and come to this realization from this point on after reading the post you make. Those who read this will know if I speak truthfully and they will judge for themselves.

To this site and all who read the post prior to the removal, I truly apologize! Thanks JP

JP: Okay, again the Dollar cost to taxpayers for all his family!

5-JP: More freedoms have been eroded or removed under this guy than when Lincoln and Bush broke the Posse Comitatus.

RGB: "The Act, § 15 of the appropriations bill for the Army for 1879, found at 20 Stat. 152, was a response to, and subsequent prohibition of, the military occupation by U.S. Army troops of the former Confederate States during the ten years of Reconstruction (1867–1877) following the American Civil War (1861–1865). Lincoln could not have possibly "broke" the Posse Comitatus as he
had been dead for 14 years before its enactment.

JP: True! but it is attached to his administration. "The law, was championed by far-sighted Southern lawmakers in 1878. They had experienced a fifteen year military occupation by the US Army in post-Civil War law enforcement. They understood the heel of a jackboot."

Has not obama attached things to Bush's administartion since he left office?

6-JP: Health care is till a mess, brags about how many people have had to sign up for food stamps.

RGB: I don't recall the bragging. Could you please cite a resource?

JP: Judicial Watch:

"In its quest to promote taxpayer-funded entitlement programs, the Obama Administration has actually rewarded one state with a $5 million bonus for its efficiency in adding food-stamp recipients to already bulging rolls.
It’s part of the administration’s campaign to eradicate “food insecure households” by improving access and increasing participation in the government’s Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). Incidentally, the program was recently changed to SNAP to eliminate the stigma that comes with a name like food stamps. Just a few months ago the federal agency that administers the program, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), launched a multi-million-dollar initiative to recruit more food-stamp participants even though the number of recipients has skyrocketed in the last few years"

I'd call a bonus bragging. Should it not be the other way around. A bouns for getting people off welfare?

7-JP: I know President Reagan made mistakes and I admit the new tax write offs he enacted were bad (removed interest on Credit cards and others to move it to house interest as one of the only thing you can write off). Unlike the cool aid drinking libs.

RGB: I believe the proper spelling is Kool-Aid.

JP: Wow...is that the best you can do with that! But you are correct!

8-JP: I can call any bad act just that.

RGB: That's a broad brush you're painting with. I (an unabashed Liberal), don't require, request or acquiesce to you putting words in my mouth. I do quite well on my own, thank you.

JP: WHAT!!! It is true, I do not have to put words in your mouth.

9-JP: The proof is where we are today as a Nation; bankrupt: morally and fiscally. Unless you do not know your history this Great Country's Laws are based on that Bible your bashing. (I am not a ron paul fan...do not really like the guy) Almost every one of our founding fathers wrote many papers that stated their faith in the Almighty God of Heaven, not ali or buda.

RGB: Ali was a former Heavyweight Champion of the World. I don't have a clue as to "buda." I don't recall bashing the Bible. More than likely, because it has not occured.

JP: As President Reagan said so well, "There You go again!" I think you know of what I speak. alah and budda. You called Ron Paul a Bible thumper which equates to bashing the Bible by attaching to a man in this manner, refer to my previous post on your demeanor in posts.

10-JP: Especially George Washington.

RGB: Yet again, you assume to be privy to my thoughts and political philosophies. Do you have any notion of how arrogant, base and adolescent that habit is?

JP: Yes, I do be the evidence you provide in your posts; esp.the sign in the OP. If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck; it is a duck!

11-JP: WHAT HAS THAT SOCIALIST, obama, REALLY DONE FOR OUR COUNTRY THAT IS GOOD AND IN LINE WITH THE CONSTITUTION!!!

RGB: Restored adult behavior to the position of POTUS.

JP: Oh yeah, like lying and breaking promises.

Islp55,

There is one thing Ive learned about Richard, you cannot win this argument, at best it will just be hurt feelings and resentment and there is no place for either in our adult world when discussing politics or history.

Think Jane Curtain and Bill Murray in the early years of Saturday Night Live and How it would boil down to Bill uttering that memorable line ..Jane you misunderstanding..!

Name calling at its finest, even if it was in jest.

Somehow , someway, Richard has become rooted in his political thinking just as you and I have become immovable on the other side of the fence that separates this property. Two very distinct trees, that are polar opposites, residing in the same space.

We can clobber each other, argue, name call, threaten, leave, flame, and whatever else you want to call this banter , all to no avail.. He will never convince you that he is a right and Vice Versa.

For every Ying , a Yang.

I for one will bash the current reigning Monarch wannabe as much as I want , as often as I want. Richard can write 50,000 eloquent words of wisdom, copyright it, chain it to my front door and it doesnt change my opinion of slo-bama one IOTA.

I can debate history until Im purple , all the way back to Adam and Eve if you like and Richard could present revisionist history in four part harmony and feeling and it doesnt change what I know or what he knows. Its all in the perspective and the opinions that were formed during our youth.

I was raised "Root Hog or Die" get in there and feed with the pigs or you dont get any and you starve and die. Depend on no one but yourself. There is no fallback safety net. The government NEED NOT be involved in my life. Taxes are the only certain thing besides Death! Be charitable and treat others like you wish to be treated. Be Moral.

To quote one of the souths great rockers, be a simple kind of man!

Im sure liberal loving people have a similar story about being in a private pig pen, lazing on couches with all you can eat buffets at their beck and call.. but thats a story for them to tell. I wasnt born with that Silver spoon!

So please have fun with politcial arguments, slander and bash our incompetent leaders as much as you want, but DO NOT take offense with the tree across the fence when he presents his version.

I think we should stay focused on bashing the incompetence of all our elected officials or soon to be elected officials instead of each other!

The top one really doesn't work anymore - gas is down around $3.00 a gallon now. It was higher towards the end of Bush's presidency than it was anytime during Obama's.

The gas price one does not work any more...UNTIL the election is over. Like in years past. Usually it is the liberals crying "foul" stating it is only a election time ploy by the republican's to garner votes. I think both parties use gas prices as a club to beat American over the head. We need to do away with the EPA and the DEQ; remove the road blocks and start to build many oil refineries and drill everywhere. I remember the days when I would ride the big pumps where my grandfather worked. There is the key word, "Worked"---America had jobs!

There in lies part of the problem. The old adage, it is a recession until you lose your job, then it is a depression, or this one, I did nothing when they gourd my neighbors ox and then they came to gore mine and there was no one left to help me.

Liberals cry and use hatful verbiage such as calling us "raciest", so we back down and concede. They march and we back off. We want less regulation and they claim we want dirty water and air; so we back off not wanting to be seen in this light. The only way to stop a bully is to show them their own blood. We stopped water boarding to get vital intel because some whiny liberal thought it cruel; I say whatever it takes and at all costs to save innocent lives. Our own boys get water boarded to know the effects before they apply it to others. I am not pro destruction of the environment or the inhumane treatment of other human beings without just cause, but I am an America first guy. Let the other guy die for his cause. It has always cost the blood of a few so we may have the freedom to type words like these from the comfort of our homes. I will oppose the ideas like Richards to the last breath, but I will fight to the death for his right to say them. That is the difference between us and them...they do not want us to have this freedom (maybe not Richard per say) but the liberal ideology at its base does not like opposing views and does use any means it can to get good people to back off. I have faced death on behalf of others more than once...the just for the just...let the bad guy die when they attempt to destroy a life of an innocent in any way.
