Yes, when I log on using internet explorer... it doesn't happen when I log on using Google Chrome... I contacted Josh about it, but he was unable to figure it out....

"Baseball players will take anything. If you had a pill that would guarantee a pitcher 20 wins but might take five years off his life, he'd take it" MLB pitcher Jim Bouton about drug use in the Major Leagues... quoted in 1969.

If your user name is this color I'm afraid I'll have to pass on any proposed transactions at this time.

My anti-virus software reacts when I go onto the home page. I will get a norice that a "program has stopped running & will close down". The program name is always a long string of nonsensical numbers & letters. I think there is a Trojan Horse that is blocked by good anti-virus software.

driddle4 tells me gets a virus warning when he logs on.

There is definitely something wrong.

I get messages saying things are blocked as well at certain points in my TCC surfing. I haven't payed close enough attention to see if it's the home page or when they show up though.

Folks, I am working on this.

Our server was contacted via email and a
voice message on March 25th.

I have had no response. They have been
helpful in the past.

I have eliminated the IP address from our
control board but that doesn't guarantee
a cease-fire on bots.

Still nailing me from my Trend Micro-Office Scan as of this morning. Narrowed it down at the moment to when I go to my transactions in particular. Everytime I go to my transactions, I get a pop-up saying I have 2 threats from "Possible_Hifrm-5". They pass but it does pop up every-time. Might just be my settings but wanted to at least let you guys know.

Uggghhhh....I think I caught something from here. A message comes up saying my computer has been infected. When I click on the message it wants me to pay for software to have it removed. It won't let me disable it, pull up my task manager so I can kill it, or bring up system restore so I can return to a restore point. No idea what I should do. This is my wife's work computer.

I don't notice any particular signs of a virus myself, but my PC has been moving quite slow lately. I'm pretty certain it will find something when I scan.

This particular malware is very insidious. It will change your pathways so that when you try to go online to your anti-virus updates, it will re-route you to their site.

I would send a PM to MWS. He might be able to help you.

I had a problem like that a few weeks ago. I installed Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware at the advise of fellow TCC members. It is free at cnet and works quickly.

Yes back in my PC days, Malwarebytes was where it was at! If you don't have it, get it, it's free and run it once very two weeks or so! Even if you don't think you have anything...it's a great tool to clean up your PC!
