Yesterday I bought my first car. It's a 2004 Volkswagen Golf GL. Only 27,000 miles! And just under $10k! I'm really happy with it. Sure it's pretty basic and smells like smoke inside  but i'm happy nonetheless. I think with a few things like window tint and some new wheels it will look really cool. Its a manual transmission and I don't know how to drive those yet but i'm really excited to learn. I think it was a great find especially for a first car. Around 27 mpg doesn't hurt either

Absolutely a bad idea for your first car. Lots of people get in accidnents and get hurt/die/hurt other people due to inexperience in driving. A first car should be something practical and something easy to drive.

I don't understand how a golf isn't practical or easy to drive....

ok this is how to get the smoke smell out of the car. Put a small glass of ammonia in the cupholder and let it sit for a day or so (if you ar ein a hot place dont do this) keep car out of direct sun etc. will smell liek new once yo utake tjhe ammonia out lets show my age too.. first car 1975 Buick lesabre limited
