QUOTE(snkpoct137 @ Feb 18 2009, 10:22 PM) Nobody is gonna trade for him because they know the falcons arent going to pay 10 mil a year for him nor would anyone else want to. Now when they cut him, thats a different story Why not? they can just trade the rights and the other team will give him a contract. QUOTE(tj4eck @ Feb 18 2009, 10:52 PM) Why would they want him?

QUOTE(tj4eck @ Feb 20 2009, 12:42 AM) cause he's better than Clemens or Ainge Ah good point. But I think they might draft another QB,sign Garcia or Warner, or just give Clemens his shot QUOTE(snkpoct137 @ Feb 20 2009, 10:42 AM) why would someone give them a pick or a player when they can just pick him up for nothing after they cut him>? Because then you don't have to compute with another team for him...

QUOTE(snkpoct137 @ Feb 21 2009, 08:07 PM) there are not many teams that are going to compete The jets, 9ers and vikings are probably the only 3 teams has a chance to join Even so wouldn't you rather trade a 2nd or 3rd rd pick then end up in a highest contract bidding war? Say he is cut then highest offer wins and we all know how dumb some of the leagues GMs are when it comes to overpaying. Personally I would rather see that, so that he ends up taking up someone's cap money, but if you are on the other side, why not trade for it and then figure your price. He plays or he sits, is much bigger leverage for a team then an open bidding war.
