Ive seen people post this plenty of times. Remember Paypal Gift is not allowed on TCC. If you are Caught trying to get Paypal Gift you will be punished.
So do us all a favor and leave Paypal Gift out of your threads.
Thanks!!!!

Yeah, this is always a problem because most members are also members of Sportscardforum and they all do that over there. I know you guys have some understanding with them that if you are kicked off this site, then you are banned from there. You should contact them about this practice of paypal gifts since it's unethical.

Not aware of anything like that with other sites. I think some folks that on other sites talk to Mods elsewhere on things, but nothing etched in stone like that (that I know of anyway, unless I'm not privy to that kind of thing
).

I don't use paypal, and I had someone say that to me, not here, but what does it mean? Paypal gift vs a paypal payment, guess I'm a newbie, but just for the record, And yes I have a account at Sports Card Forum and never heard of not paypal gifting.

Instead of paying for goods you are giving a "gift". Paypal has a seperate function, the problem is that by using the "gift" function through paypal it becomes exactly that and you have no way of getting your money back from paypal if you should not receive what you paid for as you gave the other person a "gift".

Wow, gald I asked that, Thanks for the heads up for future warnings of paypal gifting, gald I only trade and do Money Order as form of payment.

People do it to avoid the Paypal fees, but as said you have no recourse. That and Paypal could change their rules if they feel it's being abused and if you wanted to "give" someone some money (family member or a donation or something) then it would cost you fees to receive such.
But anyway it is not allowed here at TCC and is highly frowned upon if posted as such

They actually charge you now to send fees to send a gift

That's even worse then if buyer paying the fees and no recourse.
