Not bad packs of MVP. Not sure on extended, saw a bunch of breaks and it seems similar to last year without the Victory and Rookie SE inserts, so the inserts are at least a little nicer, but not sure the value is there.

Congrats on the nice hits. I like this product if it was not so expensive for hobby or you can find the retail for a good price. I saw retail boxes on DA for $85, but I have never tried them. Did not know the hangers had the orange slice cards. I really like those and the yellows.

UD S1 isn't as good as I thought it would be rookie-wise, but I do like the changes to the inserts, the Electromagnetic are neat looking and it is nice to have some different things to chase. Also like the parallels on the canvas, but that is going to make it tough to complete a set.

Not big on the blasters as they seem to have less hits, however, it looks like you did better with 2 YGs in the box.

MVP is fun, but not sure if the extra money is worth it for the hobby box. I opened a retail box and thought it was fun for the price.

Mike, bummer on your break. Make sure you check for the suit card variants and french. I am guessing you probably already did. Also, they did variants on the canvas in red and black as well. I think the GU are now one in every 4 boxes or so this year, so I would not expect to hit many of those at least based on what I have seen in breaks. Funny they are now harder to hit, but not much better in value than when they were one per box. LOL

I haven't bought any hobby boxes, but have been in on some 4 pack breaks and thought I did OK, but not great.

Hope your luck changes with the blasters.

Not sure how to feel about this. I haven't bought a lot of topps, since hockey went exclusive, but I hope Fanatics doesn't screw it up. I wonder what happens in regards to Fanatics selling UD? Guess that is done. I just hope they don't go the UD route and overproduce or start making weekly products on their website.

Each blaster has 5 packs of 6 cards and retails for $29.99. I got mine for $24.95 from Steel City Collectables when they were on sale.

Overall, I think blaster #2 was better than the first, as the Byrum Yellow Taxi and Crosby Yellow Taxi should both be better inserts. I love the Yellow Taxi cards and the Orange Slice is cool. The SP Rookies also have a cool look to them. The base just reminds me of base OPCP and the only difference is how the card is framed. I like this and might have to get some more. Just hope I have less dupes than in these two boxes. Good Luck on your breaks!

Nice hits on the Superscript in MVP. Also on the Mirror Mirror there are variations as well as regular versions. I hit the Crosby, but did not even know it at first. I think they show player in home and road uniform instead of the same uniform on each side of the card. Trilogy is hit or miss. You did hit a few nice cards, congrats!

I agree with Mike, you are more likely to get more for 1 card than selling them as a set.

You will have to offer all no-Bruins boxes in the break and not sure that would even work. LOL

Saw that Steel City Collectables had a deal - buy a hobby box and get a National 2020 Upper Deck Summer Promo pack for $130. Not sure that is a good price since this product doesn't seem to be doing well with collectors, but I haven't gotten my retail boxes in yet (looks like they are delayed until the end of August ). WTH!?!?!?
