I am getting through these cards, slowly but surely, and once again I have run across something that baffles me. I have several Pinnacle cards from 1997 that have a gold leaf bordering the bottom and I can't seem to get a completely accurate price on them. Even ebay is being difficult. Thanks in advance.

Ha, Ha...that's what I was thinking. I figured they weren't worth the paper they're printed on. Thanks Bajmurray

As you guys know I'm going through these cards for Grace Centers, and I just came across some 1991 Upper Deck, Heroes of the NHL numbered 501 through 515. They were in a seperate sleeve all by themselves, so I have no clue if this was a complete set, or not. Any information in regards to this will be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys. smile.gif

Thanks so much for the advice, guys. Sasports, that sounds like the best idea yet for thebulk of the cards that will more than likely turn out to be commons. Thanks.

I admittedly dont know a whole lot about finding values of these cards that I have been tasked with pricing, however, I was able to find a couple of online pricing sites and I am so freakin' confused. I am pricing a bunch of 1991 Score baseball cards, and almost every one of them is in the $2.00 range as per this website I'm using. I wouldn't think that they are all that valuable, so can someone point me in the right direction to get all of this stuff figured out please.

Hip Hop was bad ###### back in the day when I was in high school...Bigge, TuPac, SnoopDogg, Dre (the Chronic album), etc. Now it's all just about who has the most bling and the biggest rims on thier Phantom. Rap used to tell a story sad.gif

I'll do my best to get some pictures up ASAP, I do think however, that culling certian cards (like Autographed and GU's) for individual sale and just selling the rest in large lots (grab bags) is the best idea. What kind of numbers would you guys include in lots like that? Again, thanks for the help.

My main concern would be that one in a million chance that there is some rediculously expensive card randomly stuck the bags. It would take forever to go through and price every single card, but if thats what you guys recommend, I guess I'll have to. Aside from that, are there any other suggestions for streamlining this process? Again, any help is appreciated.

There are some (a few) mid to late Eighties football cards, some (most of) the rest are various sports (Hockey, Basketball, Football, Baseball) from the mid Nineties to a couple years ago.

Thanks for all the responses, guys. First off, I was completely surprised by the condition of all of these cards. Sharp corners, crisp edges, basically perfect condition. They definitely look to have been owned by an adult, and for a purpose. Again, this is totally not for my personal profit at all, they are being liquidated for the benefit of Grace Centers. Thanks again for the warm welcome, and any additional advice for getting the most value out of this collection will be appreciated. biggrin.gif

I am helping out Grace Centers of Hope, in Michigan. It is a shelter, in addition to a year long drug and alcohol, life recovery program. The center runs entirely off donations, therefore does not accept any government funds. Aside from the many generous cash donations the center gets, it operates several thrift stores in order to run the many programs that it does. The cards were donated specifically for this reason. I understand you being concerned, however.

Thanks for your reply, Monkey. I haven't even gotten a chance to look through all of them yet, and there are more arriving almost daily. I will get a complete list of the autographed cards and some of the (what I think are) more valuable cards. Again I really appreciate the help, thanks.

I am working for Grace Centers of Hope, and I have a question for all of you experts on here. We have a TON of donated sports cards right now that were donated, that we are looking to get the most value for. Where would you guys begin? I ordered a Beckett magazine online, but it wasn't the answer that I was looking for. How would you guys go about figuring prices for all of these, if you would sell in a lot or piece by peice, or what? There are even some autograph cards, I'm stumped...help. sad.gif
