Packaging is in typical 26 year old condition, cards and pins appear in very good shape. Refocusing my collection, thus trying to free up some storage space. Willing to sell or trade. Sale price: shipping + $3 for the entire lot |

Don't get me wrong, I can understand slabbing a single card, or coin -- but to slab an entire unopened box of trading cards, is, well, just not my thing. I suppose in my eyes, slabbing an entire unopened box - as this one is - just signifies that there's no real intent to ever open it.
These are trading cards, please enjoy them -- all of them, not just the box lol |

QUOTE(kooljazz1966 @ Apr 1 2016, 02:41 PM) Comic books, action figures/toys are slabbed as well. What's the fun in that? ..It's more about preservation as ridiculous as it can sometimes get...its how we as a society breed and egg on the fanatic collector and the endless quest for that whale of an "artifact". I suppose only reprints are intended to be enjoyed and the originals are to be preserved. It's overboard at times, that's for sure. Working in the field of cultural resource management, I see it everyday. Too many artifacts spend the rest of their lives pushed away in a dark curation storage room, left to sit in a box, often untouched or viewed by humans for a half-century-plus. It's really hard to fully appreciate something when you never get the chance to fully appreciate it. |

QUOTE(beanschat @ Jan 5 2016, 08:09 PM) Is the photo in your bucket? It says it is private and didn't let me view.... The image was taken with my cell phone, inside a semi-rigid case. The image doesn't do the card much justice. Solid mid-4 PSA grade, easy -- perhaps a 5+ |
