Received PM from Chad today. Because he's had a busy time, he sent cards today. Said he hasn't received cards I sent. I mailed them on the 18th. As I told Chad, this is a clear case of my failing to get a delivery confirmation number. I've been putting stamps from home and it has caught up with me. I will communicate through PM with Chad to make this right. I am writing this to let Bob know that Chad and I are dealing with this situation and also to let others know delivery confirmation is the only way to go. It will be, on my part, done that way from now on. Thanks- Vickie

I would very much like to get this trade resolved. Chad said he sent the cards out on the 30th. Because I sent his cards out on the 18th and he says he has yet to receive them, I feel the best thing to do is apologize yet again. When the cards he sent me get here, I will send them back immediately because I just don't have an answer as to what happened to the cards I sent. I have emailed Chad a couple times in the last week to see what he would like me to do with no response. I guess I'm frustrated for two reasons. It has been 18 days on this trade now and I've yet to see anything in my mailbox. I sent 30.00+ worth of cards which I am going to have to eat. But more than that, I know I haven't done very many trades here but I don't like the idea of having even one that goes bad. (I know it happens to everybody eventually.) See above post to know that I understand how to remedy that situation on my end. What I would like though is for people to understand- if you're so busy you can't send out cards for say two, three weeks, then don't trade. If you're too busy to communicate to at least come to some type of remedy, don't do the trade. It's just not worth all the frustration for all involved. Thank you. Vickie

I have some questions for Chad-

Why would you risk messing up your reputation when you have had 40 transactions on this site?

Why would you allow me to keep apologizing to you when I did what I said I would do and you clearly haven't? (I find it hard to believe that it actually took 19 days for the cards I sent you to finally show up in your mailbox.)

Why would you go to the card shop and buy cards to send me if you know you sent the other ones?

Why have you made this trade so difficult on yourself? Either you sent them or you didn't. Either you could or you couldn't. It's that simple.

Chad, the cards aren't that big a deal to me. They're really not. What is a big deal to me is understanding, why, after 23 days, this trade hasn't been completed. If you can't send me what you owe me I'll make it easy on you. Pack up the cards I sent you, send them back, and we'll wrap this thing up. Hey man, I'm tryin' to get you off the hook. Vickie

I'm not trying to ruin anything.

I'm truly concerned. Because I know for a fact that I sent your package about the same time that you sent mine. And the reason you don't have it by now, I do not know. I bought replacement cards because I don't want you to get short ended. What matters to me most is you getting your end of the deal. It wouldn't make me as upset if I didn't get mine, but it would make me really upset if the person I'm trading with didn't receive. I've been perfectly honest with you from day one, as I am with everyone on this wonderful site, and I will tell you that I sent your replacement cards today because I didn't get to the post office on friday. I only have 50 minutes for lunch with commute between my two schools and on Friday there were 37 people(I counted) in front of me.

Again I'm sorry. You will see my apology note when and if you get your replacements. If you don't, I'll send the ones you sent me, back to you.

I care more about my trade partners than I do myself.

I really can't believe that it is taking this long for my package to get to you. I don't know what else to say other than that if they never get to you, then I will send your end back to you. I'm aware that everything has fallen onto me, but if I did my job and sent my package to your address, I don't know what else there is. I'm really sorry Vickie. You don't deserve to have this happen. I'm hoping that it ends up in your mailbox or on your doorstep soon though.
