Welcome to January as we wrap up our 3rd year together as a group! Below is the proposed product list and all the details for this months break.

I'd like to start off by announcing our Boxbreakers "Breaker of the Month" for November which is...... BajMurray! Unfortunately even with the silent bids I'd need to ask for payment via mail as it adds up to about $400-$500 per month just for that. I won't be expecting payment to arrive prior to the break but would look for it shortly after.

Verified Jaxx does drop Titans and Bears. Hail24 picks up the Titans but the Bears are still available.

Ton of great teams open this month with Bears, Ravens, Patriots, Saints, Falcons, Raiders, etc., etc..

Just curious on the opinions of the quality of the limited product, is it worth the cost. I looked at a few breaks and it seems that everyone was very disappointed in it. Alot of redemptions and the hits that I saw were all dismal. Hopefully its ok to voice an opinion. I realize I am still the rookie on the block and your group has been together a long time. I enjoy this groups comments because I know that you guys are very knowledgable about all the products. I am sure your just trying to include a 2010 product until the good stuff comes out, but at the cost of the limited case it cuts the high-end nature of the break considerably. Personally I would rather wait on high-end 2010 product and still break the available high-end 2009 and older.

There could be a few other options such as Topps Supreme or Plates & Patches that we could try for this month although we'd have to push the break back a week or maybe a few days more (which I'm fine with if others are). I personally would rather Plates & Patches or Supreme over Limited...my only concern is will there be more delays on release dates. Plates and Patches has already been significantly pushed back, so I would hope the the 1/26 release date should stick, but who knows.

I would have to agree that the Limited looks Very Limited for 2010. My vote is for Plates & Patches or Supreme.

Also, Chris does the (1-2 Boxes) next to 2009 Exquisite mean we may just be doing 1 box of 2009 product?

Thinking about jumping back in on this break.

Just a thought though, if you push the break to the 30, both of the options (Plates and Patches, Topps Supreme) are both scheduled for a 26th release date. P&P has been pushed once already. Isn't there a HUGE likelyhood that the Jan. break will have to wait until Feb. possibly mid Feb at that. I don't know how many days is the norm between release and when you get it Chris. But I do know that one thing that has been a little dissappointing on the new case breaks, has been tying up funds for a break that comes, sometimes way later. Not your fault by any means. I know several participants that use cards from last months break to help curb the cost of the next one.
As much as I disliked the Limited and their UNLIMITED redemptions, I for one prefer the regular timing of the Monthly Group breaks. The NEW case breaks, I know the timing can't be guaranteed since it's normally purchased presell.

Please let us know, if you are going to push it or not. With the New paypal things screwing everything up, I guess all the decisions will have to be faster to allow participants to get payments in the "old school" way I sure hope having the time to debate products doesn't get caught up in the PayPal Poo.

I like the idea of Plates & Patches as I don't expect it to delay further (although obviosly just a guess) but my concern with that is the increased cost. Going with Plates over Limited adds another $500 to the budget which if people still want to go with a full case of 08Exq would mean potentially no 09 product at all. This is especially true as we've had about 4 teams dropped from last month so the budget may be tighter than usual. Quite frankly I don't like the idea of skipping 2009 all together. I'm not a big fan of Supreme with only 1 hit per box as the other 2010 option so I just don't know?

It may not be the perfect solution and I'm up for listening to options but I'd still lean towards voting for 10Limited both for cost and for the security of knowing it's released.

If you put it that way my vote would be for the redemtion product formerly known as Limited. Or... 06 NT

I would like to stick with limited.

There could be more redemptions in P&P then in limited, we wont know until we see it.
