Welcome to April as we continue in our 3rd year together as a group! Sorry about the late start in posting the list but as a result we have a tight turnaround time this month. I will post the "proposed product list" below but it will certainly be subject to change based on the difficulties I faced trying to locate a case of 08 Exquisite last month. Boxbreakers "Breaker of the Month" for April ----- Faulkrules!

Above is the link to our webpage where Faulkrules is recognized and once again I am asking the TCC and Boxbreakers community to step up and offer some freebies that can be sent his way but to make it easier just send them to me and I'll put together the award package that will be presented as the first video of the break this month. Congrats to Ed on a well deserved award!

As your BBOM I am making a special request for 06 NT.  I know that breaks the "rules", but I don't care!  I am drunk off the POWER!!!

This may very well happen depending on how many slots we end up filling and the price difference between 06NT and 07Exq. I just figure we haven't opened any 07 Exquisite in some time whereas 06NT we've managed to work in quite a bit as a filler box.

Team changes for this month;
Bucs are available again as HoffStar22 who claimed them decided to reallocate his funds to our 09 Exquisite break.
Chargers are pending as TSantoli held them last month but I have not heard back yet.
Bills have been picked up by BobKoning who's going to play the Draft game and hope for the big pick.

Upper Deck announced that it will no longer be licensed to produce NFL trading cards, ending weeks of speculation about what the beleaguered manufacturer’s status for the future might be. Upper Deck spokesman Terry Melia commented on the decision saying “UD was unable to come to terms with NFL Properties. No NFL Properties-licensed football cards from UD in 2010.” In a formal statement, Upper Deck owner Richard McWilliam said the company will instead put its focus on its exclusive with the Collegiate Licensing Company and its NHL products after the end of its 19-year run with the NFL “Over the past year, Upper Deck has attempted to negotiate a new licensing deal with NFL Properties,” McWilliam said. “Unfortunately,despite our best efforts, we were not able to reach agreeable terms, and therefore will not be issuing any NFL Properties-licensed trading cards for the 2010 season. Upper Deck will continue to focus on its exclusive license agreement with the Collegiate Licensing Company and co-exclusive agreements with NHL Enterprises and the NHL Players Association, as well as its multiple entertainment licenses.” An additional Twitter comment on an Upper Deck account states that the company’s recently released Exquisite line “will be the last one for NFL for the immediate future.” At this time last year, the Carlsbad, Calif.-based company was a licensee of Major League Baseball, the NFL and the exclusive licensee of NHL cards. Going forward right now, the company has just a MLB Players Association licensing agreement and the NHL, which is no longer an exclusive.

I was about 2 hours from buying a Harvin redemption when I saw the upperdeck news, decided not to, to risky now. Makes sense now why Exquisite is so nice, it was an inventory dump just like ultimate baseball.


I would prefer anything to Ex07.

$124 packs of 07 Triple threads means 62 dollars a hit and is way cheaper than paying $100 each for hit in 07EX, And we are guaranteed to get 1 super swatch, 1 1-color patch and the rookie auto in each pack, so thats $300 of each pack that turns into $10 cards. At least with the triple threads more people will have a shot at big hits.

Congrats Faulkrules well deserved. Im still very mad at the pack for not covering +3 at Arizona, Faulk do you have Aaron Rodgers phone number he owes me like $250.
