Hey again guys...looking for an opportunity to break a great mix of Hobby FB boxes and with a tip of the hat to GForce for the idea, I am doing a Mystery break called the "Boxbreakers Hobby Box Mystery Tour"! The idea is simple, you sign up for the team you want and we do a group break as normal where you get every card pulled from your team. The catch is that the products (including both brands and years) will not be announced until the day we break. You are going to have to trust me on this one that with the mix that I'm shooting for we'll give everyone with an opportunity to hit something nice if not spectacular! Members in our breaks have always been happy with my product choices so I'm assuming that trend will continue with this break but you'll have to sign up to know. The only thing I can tell you is that we are shooting for a budget of about $2300 so I plan to have some nice stuff in the mix! The breaks will be on Youtube. Any unclaimed teams will be put into a draft and participating members may elect to purchase a draft slot for $40 and the list will be randomized for the final draft order for the unclaimed teams.

And FYI...Superbowl is on February 7th, not Jan 31. The 31st is the Pro Bowl.

Chris when you start new breaks all the good teams are gone as you just put down the regulars all the time and what teams are left are not

I hear you but this was one where alot of the regulars passed as we had the 49ers, Broncos, Colts, Cowboys, Dolphins, Eagles, Giants, Saints, Steelers, Vikings, etc. all available when the note went to the rest of the distribution list. I do feel that the folks that are regulars in the monthly FB breaks have earned the right to choose to retain their team first (although I should probably include those of you in the Multi-sport group break as well now) so I do give them that shot but then the others on my distribution list (those who have expressed interest in joining previously) get a shot as well before I post a thread here. It's a way of showing my loyalty to them when they show their loyalty to me by staying with the breaks. I know that seems unfair sometimes but it's done more as a reward than anything.

Since this is a "Mystery break" I obviously can't say too much but trust me when I say there are still some teams on the board that have a great chance for an outstanding break in this one. While you never know what you'll get when breaking unopened material... I have a feeling there will be a few people who will be kicking themselves for not jumping on board this one!

Long time no see my man. God knows if you even remember me still haha.... Sign me up for the Titans for now... I might take more though if you could at least release the timeframe of the products. I think releasing the time frame would definitely help fill this thing all the way!

Always...although with this one I am leaving two weeks in between the payment deadline and the break so I'll have time to upgrade the boxes as opposed to adding boxes.

Hey guys...just a heads up that in an effort to spice up my website where we organize these group breaks (prior to posting here on TCC) I have updated it with a bit more color, pictures, and most importantly a new page titled "About our Members". I am starting a Boxbreakers "Breaker of the Month" post in which we'll feature one of our members including some info about their background, a few pictures if possible, and their PC focus.

As I mention on the page I have always thought of the Boxbreakers group as a community itself and what better way to support that then helping one of our members each month add a little bit to their PC. The way I propose that we honor the person is to ask that members of our groups donate a card or two (or more) to that months award winner by sending it to me prior to our break that month. I will kick off that months break with a video of the "award package" put together by the Boxbreakers and TCC community. Names of all the contributors will be noted unless an annonymous donation is requested. This doesn't have to be a ultra high value card or a stack of autos but if we all pitch in something we can really make an impact on the persons PC as well as feel better about contributing to a friends collection. I hope we can all get behind this so I'll ask that you take a look at the website linked and take a look at the "About our Members" page from the tab towards the top for our
