Since I have not had anyone join the 3 box sp rookie threads break that was not a regular I have decided to change directions a little. Rather than doing several boxes of the same product I thought it would be fun to do 1 box of several different products. Here is the rundown:
1 Box of 2008 Bowmal Sterling = 20 Hits EVERY 5-CARD PACK CONTAINS GUARANTEED VALUE! - 1 Autographed Rookie Card - 1 Rookie Relic Card - 2 Rookie Cards - 1 Veteran Relic Card EVERY 6-PACK BOX CONTAINS GUARANTEED VALUE! - 2 Rookie Autographed Relics - 4 Rookie Autographs - 12 Veteran and Rookie Relics - 2 Autographs and/or Printing Plate
1 Box of 2008 Absolute Memorabilia = 4 Hits PER BOX ITEMS - 4 Material or Autograph Cards(at least one autograph) - 1 Rookie - 1 Parallel - 1 Insert - 1 other Rookie, Insert, or Parallel
Pack 1: Autograph Pack 2: Rookie Premiere Material Pack 3: Combo/Triple/Quad/Jumbo or Prime Pack 4 Mix
1 Box of 2008 Playoff National Treasures = 6 Hits PER BOX ITEMS - 3 Autographs - 3 Memorabilia Cards - 1 Common or Parallel
1 Box of 2008 Topps Triple Threads = 2 Hits EVERY 2-PACK DISPLAY BOX CONTAINS: - An Autographed Triple Relic Card numbered to 99 or less - A Triple Relic Card numbered to 36 or less
EVERY PACK CONTAINS: - A Triple Relic Card numbered to 99 or less - 2 Base Parallel Cards numbered to 649 or less - 3 Base Cards numbered to 1499 or less
1 Box of 2008 UD Premier = 6 Hits - Get 7 Low-Numbered Hits in EVERY Box! - Pull a Premier Rookie Signature Quad Memorabilia Card numbered to 275 or less in every pack, on average! - One Premier Stitchings card per pack, on average, featuring unique player-specific woven patches numbered to 30 or less! - Two Autograph cards numbered to 65 or less per pack, on average! - One Dual or Triple Patch card numbered to 75 or less per pack, on average! - Look for unique cut signatures featuring an industry first combination of signatures from top Musical Stars who have performed the Super Bowl Half Time Show with a woven patch!
1 Box of 2008 SP Rookie Threads = 13 Hits CONTENT HIGHLIGHTS - Two (2) Autographed Rookie Lettermen in EVERY box, on average! - Three (3) Autographs per box, on average! - Five (5) jersey cards in EVERY box, on average! - One (1) each of a Super Swatch, Patch, and multi-player jersey card per box, on average! - UPDATED 7/1: Look for seven (7) multi-signed cards and three (3) autograph-memorabilia cards per case, on average(combine to deliver 1 hit per box)!
1 Box of 2008 SPX = 10 Hits CONTENT HIGHLIGHTS: - One Autograph or Memorabilia Card in EVERY pack, on average! - Collect Rookie Signature Triple Memorabilia Cards, falling one per box, on average! - Get 7 Memorabilia cards and 3 Autograph Cards in EVERY box, on average! - Three Patch or Triple Memorabilia cards in EVERY box, on average! - Look for 1 of 1 parallel cards featuring highlights and moments from NFL Superstars, falling one per case, on average!
Total of 61 High end Hits!!!
The price for 1 picked and 1 random team will be $96!!!
Falcons and Raiders are random
Here is how this and all my other breaks in the past have worked: 1. Once the break fills I will begin accepting payments (paypal preferred) 2. Once I have received payment from everyone I will do the random team video (via random.org). The teams will be posted in this thread and a video will be added to my youtube channel. I will also order the case/boxes at this point. 3. I usually like to create transactions with everyone after I receive their payments; that way I am not creating transactions with people who will eventualy drop out. 4. I will provide periodic updates about the estimated time of arrival for the case/boxes as well as the time and day I expect to break into the case/boxes. 5. I will host the break live on ustream and will also have the breaks filmed (thanks to my wife) and posted on youtube. I will also post the hits of each box in this thread. 6. If any cards are represented by more than one team they will be randomed off on random.org most likely the day following the break. Also I take great care of the cards from the moment I pull them out of the pack. If any of your cards are damaged when you receive them I can guarantee you they were like that when they were pulled. I try my best to examine the hits when I first pull them out so the owner will know it was not something of my doing. 7. If the product contains an enormous amount of base cards I will ship out three duplicates of each. Any cards #'d higher than 100 will be shipped in team bags along with the base cards. Any cards #'d less than 100 and autographs will be shipped in penny sleeves and top loaders. Any jersey/patch cards will be shipped in magnetic protective cases. All of these items will then be placed in a bubble mailer and shipped as soon after the break as I am able to manage. 8. If you would like a delivery confirmation number on your package(s) all you have to do is ask. I will state however that I have shipped out close to 200 packages so far and every single one has been received by the correct owner. That being said, I still understand if you would like to take the extra precaution.
If you have any other questions that I have not already answered feel free to send me a pm.

I concur with this particular format change. I don't see the post as overly lengthy; it is exactly what is needed to explain how this change would work. A couple other breaks I am in were kind of "knocking on the door" of this particular way of determining ownership of dual/triple/quad cards etc. but would always fall just short - mainly because people WEREN'T willing to go the last step and realize that you could make exceptions for the Raiders and Falcons (or whichever teams happen to be random in a given year/product/sport.) Prophecy Guy QUOTE(elguapochico10 @ Feb 9 2009, 01:24 PM) I am also contemplating a minor format change regarding how it is determined who receives cards with more than one team represented. Here is my idea. If the two teams represented on the card are both chosen teams the card will be randomed off on random.org. If one team is chosen and the other was a random the card will go to the chosen team. If both are random teams the card will be randomed off on random.org. The only exception to this rule would be the falcons and raiders since they were not able to be chosen. Any card with the falcons and another team or raiders and another team will be randomed off on random.org. The reason why I am considering this is because I started thinking about why people join these breaks in the first place. The main reason why people join is because they want to collect cards of their favorite team. In my opinoin, priority should be given to the chosen teams. Please give me your thoughts about this possible change. Sorry that the post is kind of lengthy but I really wanted you to see where I was coming from.
The 1st rule of Group Breaks is that you do not message Prophecy Guy about your group breaks.
The 2nd rule of Group Breaks is that you do NOT message Prophecy Guy about your group breaks.
The 3rd rule of Group Breaks is that if you can’t take the time to spell out words like “you” or “for”, I can’t trust that you’ll take the time to take care of my cards.
The 4th rule of Group Breaks is that if you incessantly bump your group break thread after I’ve joined it, I will drop out rather than be an accessory to obnoxiousness.
More to come…
