I am interested in being in, but not sure what amount. I would definately say no more than $50, but considering the Holidays just past and many of us probably have credit card bills I would prefer like $40.

At $50 we would be at $750 in total and figuring $50-75 in shipping, supplies, and fees that would leave $675-700 for boxes.

At $40 we would be at $600 in total and figuring $50-75 in shipping, supplies, and fees that would leave $525-550 for boxes.

I agree with Steve and would like to see Trilogy in the mix. The Cup and Ultimate Memorabilia are too high for this.

I would rather stick with the previous products (above) than the high ends listed below just due to the high risk, low reward. But I will open whatever the group decides, I just would like to see the group have the ability to spread around the hits by getting products that give more hits, especially when we are paying a higher amount.

Glad to see more people staying in so far for the big One Year!

As far as box selection and price, I'm fine with any price and I would LOVE to see some Trilogy and maybe some Ultimate Collection. Based on my calculations we'd be able to afford both and still afford 1-2 more boxes and just those two would provide a healthy total of hits to start it off.

Still looking to get everyone's thoughts. I want to see input from everyone on this one as it's a special break for us and I'd love to have EVERYONE involved in the process.

Yes, if everyone can post their thoughts on Price and what they would like to see broke (please consider the products based on how much $ available for boxes). That would make it easier to know what amount to set the anniversary break at and what you want to open.

I vote $40 as well. Higher prices don't really mean a better chance of a perfectly balanced break, and I'd hate to be the one that shelled out $50 to come home without a hit. $40 still gives us plenty of room to pick up some products we normally skip due to price.

As for products, 08/09 SPx is coming out next week according to the calendar. That'd be an awesome addition to our break this month.

I'd make this the core of our break:

08/09 SPx - $102 (1 rookie auto/jsy, 1 rookie jersey, 2 vet jerseys)
08/09 Trilogy - $140 (3 autos, 3 jerseys, 3 rookies)

Some higher end, higher risk stuff new products that will be harder to fit into other breaks. That takes up $242, leaving around $300 for a couple more products. It's fairly balanced and gets us 10 hits so far.

From there, I would offer the following options for vote. Not trying to be a tyrant, just trying to focus the debate. My options hopefully give us a diverse amount of years, types of hits, and balances the riskier stuff with some bread and butter type of products. It also has the goal of excluding BAP this month, since we seem to open it every other month.

Option 1:
07/08 Sweet Shot - $48 (1 auto, 1 rookie jersey, 1 vet jersey)
06/07 Sweet Shot - $53 (1 auto, 1 rookie jersey, 1 vet jersey)
