So I'm tossing around an idea for a group case break. I wanna get started early on this so everything is organized when we get around to busting the case.

My pick for the case bust is inexpensive.....relatively speaking. 2009 Topps Jumbo HTA 6 box case. 10 packs/ box. 50 cards/pack.

Guaranteed 1 AU +2 relics/box with 1 of the relics being a Legends Letterman Relic. So that would be 6 AU and 12 relics/case.

I would like to get 16 people....so that would be 15 besides me. We would have a draft for each box...order will be randomly chosen for each one. Each person will get 2 teams from each box.

Price would be $40/ person to pay for the cost of the case and shipping of the cards. With 18 hits, we should guarantee everyone a GU or AU. If some people double up, and others don't get a hit....the people that received more than one hit will get to choose what to share with their fellow casebusters.

The case bust will be held Live on UStream TV. LMK what you think and if you're interested, send me a PM. If we have enough interest, we could set up a second group.

I like the concept, but i am not a fan of topps regular....hopefully down the road if a product pops up I do like, I can get in..

Yeah...I know Topps regular is a bit plain...especially with all the great products out there....but it's the most affordable and guarantees everyone at least 1 hit....and I didn't take into account possible printing plate hits or other goodies offered up. Plus....it's the first new product to hit the stands in 09. If it was just a box break I would choose something else....but for a case bust???? I think it's a good choice.

I did get your PM and will be sending out a response either later tonight or early tomorrow morning......the fiance has called dibs on me for tonight.
