Here is a PM he send me about this. I don't really understand the problem and he hasn't replied to me yet so maybe someone else can help:

"I saw that your payment was through your credit card but i dont have an upgraded account nor do i want to get one so paypal can take a percent of that $$$ that you sent me. PLMK if you could do the payment some other way in paypal or send me the $$. Thanks."

So I paid him $4 with my credit card to his paypal account but I don't understand what the issue is...

The issue is -- he wants NON Credit Card payment. For example, Paypal balance and maybe e-check (not sure). He has a regualr account which DOESN'T take Credit Card Payment - if he accepts (by upgrading), paypal takes a percentage .30 plus 2.9% of the Money.

Ok...so what do I need to do now? I will already get billed $4 since I paid with my credit card. But if he can't get the payment then am I screwed since I already paid?

Look at your paypal - if Go18 didn't accept it - it would still be UNCLAIMED/Pending in you paypal I believe. Please contact Go18 and give us an update afterwards. Thanks

Yes it is still unclaimed. Does that mean I can just get rid of it and not get charged?

ok, this is what the issue is. He has his paypal account setup to do credit card money transfers. My account is not upgraded to that credit card feature and if i get it upgraded and i accept the payment, 2% of the money that he is sending will go not to me but to the company paypal. If he just uses an account that is linked to his bank account and not to his credit card money will not be deducted.

Please just work together and I'm sure you'll resolve this without any problems.

For example, would you like him to cancel the first payment and then send a 2nd one for $4.08? That way, you get to keep your extra $0.08.

Ok. Then it sounds like he should cancel the payment and mail the money to you. Does that seem like the best thing at this point, Ryan? Or, have you made the changes necessary to tie PayPal to your bank account?

First off thanks for the help everyone. It's no problem for me to cancel the payment. I do not have my bank account set up yet on paypal and they said it will take 2-3 days to finalize that account. If he wants I can just mail him a check if he doesn't mind that. But let me know if I need to cancel the payment and notify me how to do that because I'm not sure how, thanks.

This relates to transferring your PayPal balance to a credit card.

Ok thanks Bob I read it. But there is no "Cancel" option in the action column even though it does say it is unclaimed. What do I do now?
