I'm no longer building frames, sorry.

I haven't decided exactly what I want yet. Could you tell me how much the following would be:

1 row x 2 col
1 row x 4 col
1 row x 8 col

All of the cards are lettermen in Ultra Pro Magnetic One Touch holders for Thicker cards (I'm not exactly sure which size, but I can check on that).

There are eight letters in total, so I would be looking at either 4 2 column frames, 2 four column frames, or 1 eight column frame. If its to expensive for me i might just go with the 1 row x 2 col and buy them a few at a time.

f.y.i. the larger the frame the cheaper the per card price is. I'll be more than glad to give you a few quotes on different sizes just use the method above

1 row x 2 col = 2 cards per row with only 1 row
1 row x 4 col = 4 cards per row with only 1 row
1 row x 8 col = 8 cards per row with only 1 row

sorry, from programming i always think of things in terms of row X col regardless of what the grid holds. in this case col = column = card.

In the end, the name has eight total letters. I don't know for sure yet if I want it in one large frame with 1 row of eight cards or if i want it broken up.

The cost of one frame with eight cards in a single row may be more than the wife wants me to spend. If I buy two frames that are one row with 2 cards each that might be cheap enough for her to be okay with. That's only going to display four cards, but I could then purchase the other frames later on. I hope that makes more sense.

You do make some nice frames, i might have to check back on this....

What kind of wood do you use and do you ever mat yours? Also do you put a glass front on your frames? do you use lacker or anything like that? thanks for any help

Sorry I missed your orginal post here, I'm not on the site everyday these days. If your still interested in the frame send me a P.M. & we'll talk. It's possible to do a frame in any color if we can find it, I prefer to use spray paints as it makes for a better finish.

The stained frames are Red Oak with Oak backing, the cross rails are made from square dowels (not sure of wood type) & Pine (I belive) slats. No glass on mine, thier made for cards already in holders, my design makes it easy to insert a card & not fall out unless you turn the frame upside down. Good luck with yours & I'd love to see what you come up with when your done.

Sorry but I don't do jerseys, this was just an off shoot of the hobby for me, others have talked me into building frames for them after seeing what I do for my sets.
I do know there are a number of places that sell ready made displays for jerseys & you can have them professionally done. Good luck with your hunt love to see what you get done when it's finished.
